SURREY, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- On June 25, Skag Rollins shocked the inaugural Just Wrestling crowd by coming out at the conclusion of the grueling Main Event, and taking a chair to beloved fan-favorite, Scotty Mac. Before Scotty Sweatervest could get a reaction, Skag sent the diminutive ring announcer hurtling to the floor with a brutal pie-face, and refused to explain himself. But on July 23, one man had the courage and the ability to answer the burning question of "Why Skag Why?" ... Marty Sugar.
In his second installment of The Sugar-Coated Truth, Marty brought out Skag and let the big American unleash his four years of pent-up anger and frustration: he and Scotty Mac had started together in the same House Of Pain training class, under the tutelage of Chance Beckett; but while Scotty was wrestling international superstars and being groomed for Main Event greatness, Skag was being used as a curtain-jerking novelty act. After finding success away from the Lower Mainland (in Prince George, Portland and Washington State), Skag has returned to destroy Scotty Mac, perceived by Skag to be the proverbial thorn in his side.
After listening to Skag lambast the Surrey faithful, Sugar himself had a few words with Scotty Sweatervest, who once again refused to introduce Marty for his interview segment. The next Just Wrestling event is slated for August 27, and Marty is tight-lipped about who will be guesting on his show; however, he did state publicly that the information he has gathered will shake the very foundations of storied Bridgeview Hall. Also, August 20-22 marks the Just Wrestling debut on Vancouver Island, with a sixty-minute show each of the three days during Nanaimo's popular Vancouver Island Exhibition; look for Marty Sugar to make his presence felt there, as well.
